Speak c learly and say the na me of a pe rson in your Cont acts list, first name followed by last name. If the name is re cognized, V oice Dial repe ats the name and dia ls the number .
28 If it recognize s the number , Voice Dial repeats it and dials the numbe r . If Voice Dial is not sure it h as recogn ized the number , it displays a choice list of up to three numbers and prompts you with “ Did you say? ” followed by the first number on the list.

Entering T ext 47 T ext Entry Modes T e xt Entr y Modes Y ou can compose text messages using al phabetical characte rs, symbols, and numbers. Each method of character entry (s ymbol, numbe r , and so on) is ca lled a text entry mode. There are four text entr y modes, as indica ted: • Alpha — Alphabetical text entry mo de.

52 Y our Contacts List Y our Contacts list can stor e up to 500 numbers, with ea ch contact having up to five associated phone numbers, an e-ma il address, an d a picture ID. Each phone numb er can be up to 32 digits in length, in c luding hard pauses.
