8 Precautions for use Battery characteristics This camera recorder uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery which produces electrical energy by means of an internal chemical reaction.
9 Storage tips When storing the camera recorder, eject the cassette from the camera recorder and remove the battery. Store all components in a location where the humidity level is low and the temperature is relatively stable.

34 Setting the time data Setting the user ’ s bit By setting the user ’ s bit, memos (dates, times) and other information consisting of up to 8 digits in hexadecimal notation can be recorded on the sub-code track. The user ’ s bit settings are automatically stored in the memory and retained even after the power has been turned off.
