12 13 V ehicle Installation Wire Guide The Po wer Connect V ehicle Dock has a wire guide at the top r ear that can help you t o organize the c ables and wir es connect ed to the dock. If you need t o bring a cable or wir e from one side of the dock to the o ther , utilize the wire guide by looping the cable though the wir e guide as shown.
14 15 St ep 1: Choose a Loc ation for Y our R adio When inst alling the onyX in y our vehicle, choos e a location wher e it will not block your vision, int erfere with the c ontrols, or obstruct the air b ag.
16 17 V ehicle Inst allation St ep 2: Install the Dash or V ent Mount Depending on your sit uation, you c an either choose t o use the Dash Mount or the V ent Mount. IMPORT ANT! When you ins tall the chosen moun t, do not att ach the dock to the mount.
18 19 V ehicle Inst allation Installing the Vent Mount: 1 Loc ate a vent with horiz ontal louver s stur dy enough to hold your Po wer C onnect V ehicle Dock and radio. 2 If the vent louv ers in your v ehicle are r ecessed, y ou may need to use the longer vent clamps with the V ent Mount.
20 21 St ep 3: Mount the Magnetic Mount Ant enna The Magnetic Mount An tenna c ontains a str ong magnet which will stick to an y metal part o f your v ehicle, but will not damage the vehicle . To i nst al l the Mag ne tic M ou nt A nte nn a: 1 Choose the bes t location f or your antenna c onsidering your v ehicle type.

It disappears when the ant enna is connect ed properly or when the r adio starts r eceiving a signal.
