1 Deter gent dispenser dr a w er 2 Mains-on light This light comes on when the ON/OFF button is pressed, and goes out when it is pressed again. 3 ON/OFF button Press this button to switch the machine on. Press it again to switch the machine off. Programme Option buttons Depending on the programme, different functions can be combined.
7 7 Soil le v el By depressing this button it is possible to select a programme more or less intensive according to the soil level of your laundry . The corresponding pilot light comes on. Intensive For heavy soiled laundry . The washing phase will be prolonged by about 10 minutes.
8 11 Pr ogr amme selector dial The selector is divided into 5 sections: • Cotton, • Synthetics • Delicates • W ool (hand washing) • Special programmes • Reset programme O The selector dial can be turned either clockwise or anticlockwise. Position E corresponds to the ENERGY SA VING programme and position to “cold wash”.
W ith this programme it is possible to rinse and spin garments which have been washed by hand. The machine performs 3 rinses, followed by a final spin at 1200 r .p.m. The spin speed can be reduced by depressing SPIN button. Hand washed garments can be softened with this programme.
10 Operating Sequence Before the first wash, we recommend that you run a cotton cycle at 60°C, without any laundry in the machine, to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub. Pour 1/2 a measure of detergent into the dispenser drawer and start the machine.

24 Installation Instructions T echnical Specifications It is dangerous to alter the specifications or attempt to modify this product in any way . Care must be taken to ensure that the appliance does not stand on the electrical supply cable.
25 Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using the appliance. Y ou are advised to keep all the packaging for re-use in case the machine is to be transported again. Using a spanner unscrew and remove the rear right bolt. Lay the machine gently on its back, making sure that the hoses are not squashed.
26 P ositioning Install the machine on a flat hard floor . Make sure that air circulation around the machine is not impeded by carpets, rugs etc. Check that the machine does not touch the wall or other kitchen units. Never place cardboard, wood or similar materials under the machine to compensate for any unevenness in the floor .
27 The drain hose may be extended to a maximum of 4 metres. An additional drain hose and joining piece is available from your local Service Force Centre. The joining piece must have an internal diameter of 18mm. If you intend the drain hose to empty into a sink, make sure that the sink is empty and the plug hole is not blocked.
28 Electrical connection Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. W ARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EAR THED. The manufacturer declines any liability should this safety measure not be observed.
