2. Select a flat surface for assembling the unit. Cover that surface with a protective covering. 3. Determine and mark the centerline on the wall where the canopy hood will be installed. 4. Select a mounting height, minimum 30" (76.2 cm), above the cooking surface and mark refer ence line on the wall.

8 Make Electrical Connection 1. Disconnect power . 2. Remove terminal box cover . 3. Remove the knockout. 4. Install the UL- or CSA-listed conduit connector . 5. Run 3 wires, black, white and gr een (14 AWG) in ¹⁄₂ " conduit from service panel to terminal box.
9 Complete Installation 1. Check lights and blower operation. See “Use and Care Guide” section. If hood does not operate: ■ Check that the circuit br eaker is not tripped or house fuse blown. ■ Disconnect power . Check that wiring is correct. 2.

19 5. Fixer le gabarit avec du ruban adhésif - aligner l'axe central du gabarit et le bas du gabarit avec les lignes correspondantes tracées sur le mur (bas de la hotte et axe central). 6. Placer la bride de support inférieure sur le gabarit; établir l'alignement avec le rectangle tracé.
20 Assemblage et installation de la bride du cache- conduit 1. Avec 4 vis fournies, assembler les 3 sections de la bride du cache-conduit. La taille de la bride assemblée doit correspondr e à la dimension inter ne de la section supérieure du cache-conduit.
21 5. Assurer l'étanchéité de chaque connexion avec du ruban adhésif pour conduits. Raccordement électrique 1. Déconnecter la source de courant électrique. 2. Ôter le couvercle de la boîte de connexion. 3. Enlever l'opercule arrachable.
22 Nettoyage Avant toute opération de nettoyage de la hotte, vérifier que les lampes ont refr oidi. Surfaces externes Nettoyer la hotte avec un déter gent doux et un chiffon doux. Ne pas utiliser un produit de nettoyage abrasif ou un tampon de laine d'acier .
23 3. Tirer le filtr e vers l'avant. Réinstallation des filtres à graisse métalliques : 4. Insérer le bor d arrière du filtre métallique dans la rainur e arrière de l'ouvertur e d'installation du filtre. 5. Pousser la manette vers l'arrière et pousser le filtr e vers le haut.
