15 Install the SIM card Install the SIM card To take full advantage of your A cer M900 Smartphone ’s tele- phony capabilities, you must install a SIM card. The SIM card holder is located beneath the battery. Open the battery compartment Gently, but firmly slide the battery cov er down to release it.

You will be required to e nter the Mas- ter Password (default is four zeroes: 0000) to complete the setup process.

25 Before making a ca ll Chapter 2: Making Calls This chapter shows you how to make voice and video calls, and the various options available to you during your call. Before making a call The phon e function needs to be tu rned on before you can make voice and vid eo calls; you can turn the phone on from the Comm.

Tap Speed Dial beneath the Ho me screen an d tap the contact you wish to call. You can opt to arrange numbe rs alphabetically or by the fre- quency with which you call the n umbers.

The messaging screen All SMS, MMS and em ail messages are accessed via the messag- ing screen. To access the messaging screen, tap Start > Messaging > Mes- sages .
