1. Safety • When mounting the projector t o the ceiling or t o a rigging s ystem, always mount security chai ns. • W arning: Protection from ultraviolet radiation : Do not look dir ectly in the light beam. The lamp c ontained in this product is an intense source of light and heat.

2. Gener al 2. GENERAL About this chapter Read this chapter before inst alling your FLM HD18. It contains important inform ation concerning install ation requirements for the FLM HD18, s uch as minimu.
2. Gener al Screens are rated by how much light they re fl ect (or t ransmit in the case of rear projection systems) given a determined amount of li ght projected toward them. The ‘G AIN’ of a screen is the ter m used. Front and rear screens are bot h rated i n terms of gain.

2. Gener al 2.4 FLM fl ight case Introduction of the FLM fl ight case The FLM fl ight case is designed to transport the FLM HD18 in a safe and secure manner . The four caster wheels, provided with breaks, and the eight handles make the FLM fl ight case easy to handle.

ST A CKING FLM PROJECTORS Gene ral Three interlocking adapter s at the top and at the bottom of the FLM projector allows an easy and fast stacking without using extra tools or accessories. W ARNING : Maximum stack three (3) FLM projectors in a table mount con fi gurat ion.

T he mo dularity of the input modules makes the F LM projector very fl exible regarding input source connectivity .

9. Imag e men u 9.4 Aspect r atio Aspect ratio Relation between t he horizontal & vertical dimension in which the window will be displayed, e.g. 4 by 3 or 16 by 9. Can also be expressed as a decimal n umber , such as 1.77. The larger t he ratio or decimal, the wider ar e less s quare the image.

When fi l m with a banner is projected at t he same time, and fi lm mode is auto, the banner will s hown possible artefacts as the software will detec t a fi lm.
