Inse rt two R 6 (size AA) batt eries by matchi ng t he 3 and # ends on the batteri es to the markings ins ide the battery co mpartment. When usi ng the remote, point it at the remote sensor on the record er.

43 Timer Rec ording Timer Recording Before Recording Before you start recording… • Chec k that t he disc ha s enou gh ava ilabl e spac e for th e reco rding ( page 36 ). Fo r the HDD, DVD+RW s, and DVD-RWs, you can fr ee u p dis c spac e by e rasin g tit les (page 6 7).

45 Timer Rec ording Timer Reco rding (Stand ard/G -Code) You can set the timer f or a tota l of 40 pro grammes (8 prog rammes when us ing the PDC/V PS funct ion), up to 30 days in advanc e. There are two met hods to set the timer: the standard me thod and G-Code method.

67 Erasing an d Editing To open u p disc space To open up disc space on a DVD+RW or DVD-RW (Video mode), erase the ti tle with the larg est number in the title list . For the HDD and D VD-RWs (VR m ode), you can er ase a ny title. For DVD-Rs and DVD+Rs, the a vailable d isc space do es not increa se even i f you eras e titles.
