RQT6035 16 Getting started Plug-in Auto Tuning After you purchase the unit, plug it into your household AC outlet, and turn it on for the first time, the unit automatically tunes in all the channels it can receive and sets the clock. Preparation ³ Confirm that the antenna is connected correctly.
17 RQT6035 Getting started Plug-in Auto Tuning Note ³ Plug-in Auto Tuning does not work if you turn the unit on by press- ing [ < , OPEN/CLOSE] or [ 1 , PLAY]. ³ After the unit sets the clock automatically, it then adjusts the clock everyday. ³ If the unit sets the time incorrectly, use “ Time Zone Adjust ” to cor- rect it ( ➡ page 89).

21 RQT6035 Getting started Selecting TV screen type The aspect ratio is factory set to 4:3 for a regular television. You do not have to change this setting if you have a regular 4:3 aspect tele- vision. Preparation ³ Turn on the television and select the appropriate video input to suit the connections to this unit.
