Call Functions 18 Making a Call Ending a C all 䊳 Briefly press the key when you want to end your call. Redialing the Last Number The phone stores the numbers of the calls you’ve dialed, received, or missed if the caller is identifi ed. T o recall any of these numbe rs: 1.
19 Adjusting the Call V olume During a call, use the Volume keys on t he left side of the phone , to adjust the speaker volume. 䊳 Press the key to increas e the volume level a nd the key to decrease the level. In Idle mode, you ca n also adjust the ring vol ume using these keys.
Call Functions 20 Call Records The following Ca ll Record options are a vailable: All calls This menu lets you view th e 90 most recent calls you received, dialed, and missed. The name or number , if already stored in your Phonebook, displays with the numb er of occurrences for each number .
21 Incoming call s This menu lets you view the 30 most recent calls you received. The name and numbe r , if already sto red in your Phonebook, i s then displayed with the number of occurrences for each number . Outgoi ng calls This menu lets you view the 30 mo st recent calls you dialed.
Call Functions 22 Silent Mode Silent Mode Silent Mode is convenient when you wish to stop the phone from making any noise, (in a theater for exampl e). In Idle mode, press a nd hold the key until the “S ilent Mode Acti vated” messa ge and the Silent Mode icon ( ) display .
23 Selecting Options T o view the various fu nctions and options available, you must select the one you want by: 1. Press the appropriate soft key . 2. T o select the function di splayed or the option highlighted, press the Select soft key or the key .
Call Functions 24 Selecting Functions and Options Putting a Call on Hol d Y ou can place the current call on hold whenever you want . If your netowrk supports this ser vice, you can also make ano ther call while a call is in progre ss. T o place a call on hold: 1.
25 Muting or Sending Key T ones These options allo w you to turn the key tones o ff or on. If the Keypad tone option is Off, your phone does not tran smit the DTMF (Dua l T o ne Multi-Frequency) tones of the keys, which then allows you to press ke ys without hearing annoying key tones during a call.

41 T ext Messages Short Messag e Servic e (SMS) allows you to send and receiv e short text messages to and from other mobile phones. In addition, your phone supports the Enhanced Messaging Ser vice (EMS), whic h enables yo u to include simple graphics, melodies, and animated images in your messages.
Messages 42 E-mail Messages • Attach : allows you to attach a Namecard, Schedule, Anniversary item, Miscellaneous item, or T ask to your messa ge. • Save to Drafts : save the message to your Phone or SIM card. • Select language : allows you to set the langua ge to English, Français, and Español.

Messages 44 Picture Messages A Picture Messaging message is a multim edia presentation contained in a si ngle file. It is not a text fi le with attachments. Y ou must first retrieve a picture message from T-Mobile’ s vo ice mail ser ver before you can view the message.
45 • Downloaded videos : displays a list of downloaded videos. • Videos : displays a list of previously downloaded videos. • Memory card : allows you to insert an image or video from the memory card. This option displays only if you have a memory card inserted.

Messages 50 Inbox • Properties: shows you information about the me ssa ge, such as time and date the message was received, the sender ’ s e-mail address or phone number , recipient’ s e-mail address or phone num ber , Cc, message size, priority , and class.

Organizer 90 Alarm • Auto power -up : alar m rings at the sp ecified time even if the phone is turned off. If the option is set to Off and the phone is switched off at th e specified time, the alarm does not ring. T o set the alarm: 1. After selecti ng an alarm, highlight the Alarm option and press the key .
91 Calendar With the Calendar feature, you can: • Consult the calenda r by month, week, or day . • Set schedules and note anniversaries • Make a tasks list. • Write memos to keep tr ack of your schedule. • Set an alarm to act as a reminder , if necessary .
Organizer 92 Calendar Week view When you select this option, the calend ar displays the select ed week with today’ s date and time highlighted. The following o ptions are availa ble when you press the Options soft key: • View m o de : takes you to the Day view or Month view of the selected day.
