21 End Key The End key is used to turn on/off your pho ne, disconnect call s, and return to the standby mode. • Press and hold the End key to turn on/off your phone. • Briefly press once to disconnect a call. • Press to return to st andby mode from any menu.

After entering a number • T o clear the last digit displayed, press the ke y . • T o clear another digit in the number , pre ss the Left or Right Navigation key until the cursor is immediately to the right of the digit to be cleared.

35 Silent Mode Silent mode is co nvenient when you wi sh to stop the p hone from maki ng noise, in a theater for example. In Idle mode, press and hold the key unt il the phone vibr ates, the “Silen t Profile on” message appears on screen. Both the Si lent mode and Vibration icons are displa yed on the Main D isplay screen.

The two loca tions are physicall y separate but are used as a single entity , ca lled the Address Book .

Messaging 62 Creating and Sending T ext Messages The Message icon ( ) displays when yo u have received new text messages. When the memory is full , an error mess age displays and you ca nnot receive any new messages. Use the Delete option in each messa ge box to delete obso lete messages.
