19 Multitasking Menu This menu is launched by pressing the Multitasking key ( ) on the right side of the handset, and allows you to choo se which tasks you wa nt to perform. Call Functions 24 Making a Call • T o clear another digi t in the number , press the Left or Right Navigation key until the cursor is immediately to the right of the digit to be cleared. 47 Finding an Add ress Book Entr y Y ou can store phone numbers and their corresponding name s onto the SIM card and phone’ s onboard memor y . They are physica lly separate but are used as a single entity , called the Address Book . Depending on y our particular SIM card, the maximum number of p hone numbers the SIM card can store may diffe r .

81 • APN Control : allows you to turn control of Access P oint Names (APN) On or Off. APNs are a method by which you can access ad vanced communica tion using your handset. Th is advanced com munication includ es instant mes saging, text messaging, mu ltimedia messaging, em ail, and internet access.
Set Calls Changing Y our Settings 82 • Hide : your identifying information is hidden from the other party . • Auto Reject : allows you to enable a phone feature whi ch allows you to automatically reject calls from a li st of contacts. Use the Left or Right Navigation ke y to toggle t he activation of this feature.
83 V oice Call: This option al lows you to configure t hose phone parameters a ssociat ed to voice calls. • Call Forwarding : enables incoming calls to be rerouted to a number that you specify . Use the Up or Down Navigation key to highlight your select ion.

A T&T Music 100 Playing Music while Multitasking • Albums : provides a list of albums that you have stored. • Playlists : provides a list of your music playlis ts. These playlists provide access to streaming music streams. See ‘Using Playlists” on page 102.

A T&T Music 102 Using Playlists After the Music Player has been enabled, yo u can listen to music in the background while performing othe r phone functions. Important!: When you are f inished u sing the Music Player function, you must press the key to stop the function to prevent the ba ttery from losing its charge.
