8 Rocketboost is expandable. Each Rocketboost Re ceiver can select the audio from any Sender in your Roc ketboost audio net work. The following show s an example Rocketboost network. Y ou can set up your network to meet yo ur specific needs. W e hope you enjoy y our new Rocketboost system.

13 RF-RBUSB 3 Vol u m e buttons (device) Pres s to adjust the volume on Roc k etboost devices that support volume control (for example , RF-RBWS02 wireless outdoor speak er). The wireless sender/receiver is a line-level device, so volume controls ar e not suppor ted on it.
14 Setting up y our wireless sender/rec eiver Initial set up T o set up your wireless sender/receiver: 1 Unpack the package contents. 2 Adjust th e antennas. Tip : In some cases, you may improve range by rotating both antennas to create a 180° angle.
15 RF-RBUSB The Rocketboos t Wire less sender/rec eiver works as both a Rocketboost wireless sender and wir e less receiv er, so you can use it in either configuration. In fact, you can even use it as a wir eless sender and wireless r eceiver simult aneously.
16 Using as a wir eless sender The wirele ss sender/receiv er can be connected to an MP3 play er , computer , or other audio device to send music to other Rocketboost wireless receiv ers. 17 RF-RBUSB Using as a wireless r eceiv er The wireless sender/ receiver can be c onnected to an amplifier or amplified speaker to receive musi c fr om other Rocketboost wireless senders. An example configuration is shown below. Connect your powered speaker or amplifier to the LINE Out jack on the rear of the wirele ss sender/receiv er using the 3.
18 Connecting pow er to the wireless sender/receiv e r T o connec t the pow er: 1 Connect the AC power adapter to the wirel ess sen der/receiver and plug into an A C power outlet. The wir eless sender/r eceiver automatically turns on and the powe r indicat or turns g reen o r blue , depending on the hub st atus switch position.

Replace the batte ry with a CR2025 or equivalent. 3 Slide the tray with the new batte ry into the batter y compar tm ent until it clicks into place. 22 6 Press and hold the on the Rocketboost hub device f or more than three seconds to put it into joining mode. The power indicator starts blink ing rapidly and the unit will stay in joining mode for 30 seconds. The diagram (below) show s an example of this .
