9 Check Configuration and Make a T est Call 1 If your desk phon e has a volume control s et it to mid- range . 2 On the b ottom of t he switche r , e nsure the configurati on slide switch is s et to “A ” , the listening volume dial is se t to 3 and the speak ing volume dial is se t to 2.
10 NOTE If you will be installing the HL10 lifter and power supply, continue below. If not continue with Computer: Connect and Call . Desk P hone Pl us H L 1 0 li f te r and Po wer S up ply ( sold separat el y) 1 Plug one end of th e power supply into th e power jack on th e back of the MDA200 and the other end into a work ing pow er outlet .
11 8 Gently place the lif ter on th e desk phone in th e pre- deter mined posit ion. 9 Press firmly to adhere . If Y ou Do Not Hear a Dial T one 1 If you do not he ar a dial tone, raise t he lifte r height sw itch to the nex t highe st posit ion. 2 Repeat ste ps 3 through 6 abov e as necess ar y until you hear a dial tone.

15 Answe r an I nco mi ng Ca ll The easie st way to answ er an incoming call from the de sk phone or computer is to pre ss the flashing LED ( desk phon e or computer) talk but ton wh en you hear an incoming call. Alterna tively, you can answe r an incoming call by pressing the he adset in- line control but ton if the heads et is so equippe d.
16 T rouble shoo ting Desk Phone I can’t hear a dial tone in the headset. Adjust the configuration switch on the switcher until a dial tone is heard. Fine tune the listening volume with the headset volume button. If the volume is still too low, adjust the listening volume dial on the switcher .
17 Softphone When I dial from my softphone application, nothing happens. Ensure that the headset is the default sound device. The Plantronics control panel will launch the sound devices control panel by going to Plantronics Control Panel > Preferences > General – Launch Audio Devices Control Panel.
