Closed user group — Define a group of people whom you can call and who can call you (network service). Security le vel — To request the security code when ever a new SIM card is inserted into the device, select Phon e . As voice commands are language-depende nt, before voice dialling, select Menu > Settings and Pho ne > Language sett ings > Phone language , and your language. Note: Using voice tags may be difficult in a noisy environment or during an emergency, so you should not rely solely upon voice dialling in all circumstances.

Write a compound word Write the first part of th e word, and scroll right to confirm it. W rite the next part of the word, and confirm again. Text and multimedia m essages You can create a message and op tionally at tach, for example, a picture. Your device automatically chan ges a text messag e to a mu ltimedia message when a file i s attached.
To attach an obj ect to the message, select Option s > Insert object . The messag e type changes automatically to multimedia message. 3 To add recipients, select Send to and a recip ient. To enter a phone number or ma il ad dress manually, select Number or e-mail .
Nokia Xpress audio messages Create and send audio me ssages using MMS in a convenient way. Select Menu > Messaging . 1 Select More > Othe r messages > Audio message . The voice recorder opens. 2 Select the icons to control the recording. — Record your message.
Sign in to your m ail account 1 Select your mail service provider. 2 Enter your account ID and password. 3 Select Remember password to disable the password query when you access your mail account. 4 Select Sign In . To sign in to an additional mail account, select Add account .
Close the mail appl ication Select Sign Out . Access IM from your mail account Some mail service providers allow you to ac cess your insta nt mess aging account directly from your mail a ccount. To sign in to your provider's instant me ssaging service when writing a mail, select Option s and your IM service.
Send an IM 1 Select an IM service. 2 Select a contact from the contacts list . Each conversation is on a ta b in the conversation view. 3 Enter your message in the text box at th e bottom of the display. 4 Select Send . Receiving messages When a new message arrives in your curren t conversation, the message appears a t the end of the chat history.
Bluetooth wireless technol ogy With Bluetooth wireless technology, you ca n connect yo ur device, using radio wave s, to a compatible Bluetooth device within 10 metres ( 32 feet). Select Menu > Settings > Connectivit y > Bluetooth . This device is compliant with Bluetooth Sp ecification 2.
