Installation 15 INST ALLING THE SIM CARD AND THE HANDSET BA TTER Y Make sure the power is off before you remove the battery . 1. REMOVE THE BA TTERY COVER. Press the battery release latch and lift the battery cover from the bottom of the phone. 2. REMOVE THE BA TTERY .
Installation 16 3. INST ALL THE SIM CARD. Slide the SIM card into the SIM card holder. Make sure that the SIM card is inserted properly and that the gold contact area on the card is facing downwards. T o remove the SIM card, press down lightly and pull it in the reverse direction.
Installation 17 CHARGING THE BA TTER Y Before connecting the charger to the phone you must first check the battery is installed. 1. Ensure the battery is fully charged before using the phone. 2. With the arrow on the plug facing down, push the plug on the charger into the socket on the side of the phone.

Call history 30 CALL HISTORY (Menu 3) Y ou can check the record of missed, received, and dialled calls only if the network supports the Calling Line Identification (CLI) within the service area. The number and name (if available) are displayed together with the date and time at which the call was made.
Call history 31 ° Set tariff: Y ou can set the currency type and the unit price. Contact your service providers to obtain charging unit prices. T o select the currency or unit in this menu, you need the PIN2 code. ° Auto display: This network service allows you to see automatically the cost of your last calls.
Message 32 MESSAGE (Menu 4) This menu includes functions related to SMS (Short Message Service), MMS (Multimedia Message Service), Email, voice mail, as well as the network’ s ser vice messages. New text message (Menu 4.1) Y ou can write and edit text message, checking the number of message pages.

Browser 38 BROWSER (Menu 5) Y ou can access various W AP (Wireless Application Protocol) services such as banking, news, weather reports and flight information. These services are specially designed for mobile phones and they are maintained by W AP service providers.
Browser 39 Cache (Menu 5.4.2) The information or services you have accessed are saved in the cache memory of the phone. ° Clear cache: Removes all context saved in cache. ° Allow cache: If you select On, you can use cache memory to save the contents temporarily .

My stuff 41 If you tap icon in a JPG/BMP/GIF/PNG list, you can view the submenus as follows (in List view): ° Send via: Y ou can send the image through MMS/Email/Bluetooth. ° Set as wallpaper: Y ou can set the image as a wallpaper. (Only for JPG/BMP/PNG) ° File: - Rotate image: Y ou can rotate image with an angle of 90°/180°/ 270°.
My stuff 42 Videos (Menu 1.3) Shows the list of MP4, 3G2 files in the Downloaded folder. This phone only supports .3gp files, that are encoded with MPEG4 and h.263 video-codecs and AMR audio-codec. Downloaded folder is set by default. Y ou cannot edit or delete the default folder.
If you tap the icon in a list, you can view the submenus as follows (in List view): ° Send via: Send the selected file to another device via MMS, Email and Bluetooth. ° Delete: Delete a file. ° File: Y ou can edit the file name. Y ou can also copy and move the file.
Y ou can convert the screen horizontally by selecting Landscape menu in option. The default mode is full screen. Documents (Menu 1.4) Show the text documents in SIM or phone memory . A fter opening the file, you can view the submenus by tapping icon. ° Landscape: Y ou can read the text in landscape.
Camera 45 CAMERA (Menu 2) Do one of the following to display the camera capture screen: 1. Press the key at least two seconds to enter camera capture mode directly . Or, tap the Multimedia icon, and then select Camera menu. 2. Focus on the subject to capture the image, and then press the key .

Y ou can enjoy listening to MP3 music files on a memory in your phone using a compatible headset or via the internal loudspeaker. SIM service 63 SIM SERVICE (Menu 5) This menu depends on SIM and the network services. - In case the SIM card support SA T(i.e. SIM Application T oolkit) services, this menu will be the operator specific service name stored on the SIM card. - In case the SIM card does not support SA T services, this menu will be Profiles.
