7 Installation Installation Method Place the left and right speakers correctly. If they are plac ed in wrong location s, the left and right audio cannot be reproduced corr ectly. Place the main unit by leaving a space of at least 1 cm from each speaker .
8 English Connections 1 2 3 Connect ever y connection cord firmly. Incomplete inser tion may cause loss of audio output or generation of noise. FM indoor antenna The provided FM antenna is a simplified one for indoor use, intended for temporary use.
9 AM loop antenna The provided AM antenna is an indoor antenna. Install it as apar t as possible from the main unit, T V set, speaker cords and power cord and orient it in the direc tion that offers best reception condition. Po wer Cor d Insert the power plug all the way into the power outlet.
10 English Connections USB connector Connect a Ken wood digit al memory audio player (separately available M1GC7) or other USB mass storage class-compatible digital audio player . PHONES jack Connect headphones (separately available) equipped with a stereo mini-plug.
11 FM outdoor antenna Use a 75-Ω coaxial cable, lead it indoors and connect to the FM 75 Ω terminal. Remove the simplified FM indoor antenna af ter connec ting the outdoor antenna. A UX IN jacks Connect to audio autput of an auxiliary component such as a VCR or a turntable incorporating an RIAA equalizer amplifier (separately available P-110).

17 Playable data This system can play back data in the MP3 and WMA formats. It cannot play data recorded in the SD audio format . Recording and editing This system records data in the USB device or memor y card using the WMA format.
