7 English Putting Batteries in the Remote Control Before using the r emote contr ol, put tw o supplied batteries f irst. When using the remote control, aim the remote control directly at the r emote sensor on the recei ver . 1. On the bac k of the remote contr ol, remov e the battery co ver as illustrated.
8 English T urning the Power On and Off (Standby) On the front panel: T o turn on the power , press ST ANDBY/ON . The ST ANDBY lamp goes off. The name of the current source (or station frequenc y) a ppears on the display . T o turn off the power (into standb y mode), press ST ANDBY/ON a gain.
9 English Adjusting the V olume On the front panel: T o increase the volume, turn MASTER V OLUME c lockwise.
