When it is used in a remote room with a sensor that is connected to the M ultiroom IR Input Jack e , this button turns the Multiroom system on and off .
INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS System Installation After unpacking the unit, locating it in a place with ade- quate ventilation and placing it on a solid surface capable of supporting its weight, you will need to make the con- n ections to your audio and video equipment.

When all audio , video and system connections have been made , the final steps before listening to your new A VR are to make the configuration adjustments that t ailor the unit to the other components in your system, a s well as accommodate your personal listening pref- erences .

Making Configuration Adjustments T he full-OSD system is available by pressing the OSD Button U ∫ . When this button is pressed, t he M ASTER MENU ( Figure 1) will appear , and adjustments are made from the individual menus .

When the cursor is at the VIDEO IN-PORT line , you are able to select an alternative to the default input setting for the video input associated with any s ource except HDMI 1 and HDMI 2.
When all settings on this page are complete , press the ⁄ / ¤ Na vigation Buttons D © until the on-screen cursor is pointing to PAGE 1 and then press the Set Button p œ to return to the main IN/O.

Before beginning the output level adjustment process , make certain that all speaker connections have been properly made . The system volume should be set to the l evel that you will use during a typical listening session. W e recommend that EzSet/EQ be used when the A VR is first installed to establish the initial level settings .

44 MULTIROOM OPERATION The AVR 445 is fully equipped to operate as the con- trol center for a complete multiroom system that is capable of sending one audio source to a second z one in the house while a separate source is listened t o in the main room.
