The DIMMs can be either EDO (Enhanced Data Out) or SDRAM (Synchronized DRAM). • DIMM SDRAM may be 83MHz (12ns), 100MHz (10ns) or 125MHz (8ns) bus speed.

The modified data will be stored in a battery-backed CMOS, so that data will be retained even when the power is turned off.

BIOS EP-6VBA Page 4-17 4-6 Load Setup Defaults The “LOAD SETUP DEF AUL TS” function loads the system default data directly from ROM and initializes the associated hardware properly. This function will be necessary only when the system CMOS data is corrupted.
