If it is necessary to replace any of the display asse mbly internal components, remo ve the two round Mylar scre w covers 1 on the display bezel bottom edge. 4–2 4 Maintenance and Service Gui de Remo val and r eplacement pr ocedures 11. If it is necessary to replace the display in verter (CCFL display panels only), release the in verter from the clips built into the display enclosure, and then detach the in ve rter from the display enclosure.

If it is necessary to replace the webcam (select models only), lift the webcam 1 as far from the display enclosure as the cable allo ws. The webc am is secured with double-sided tape and is a vailable using spare part number 531202-001.

If it is necessary to replace the disp lay panel/webcam cable, which is attach ed to the back of the display panel with clear adhesi ve tape, remov e the tape 1 to release the cable from its connector, and then remo ve the cable 2 .

The utility reports information about the computer and provid es settings for startup, security , and other preferences.
