K eep packaging away fr om children. • The appliance is not intendet for us e by young children or infirm per- sons without supervision.
Operating Instructions 8 • Allow the washing solution to cool befor e carrying out an emergency emptying operation or cleaning the dr ain pump. • Small animals can chew the power cables and water hoses. Risk of electric shock and danger of wate r damage! Keep small animals away fr om the washing machine.
Operating Instructions 9 2 Envir onmental tips • A pre-wash cycle is n ot necessary in the case of washing which is not excessively dirt. This saves deter gent, water and time (and is gentle on the envir onment.) • If the indicated load capacities ar e taken full advantage of, the wash- ing machine is especially efficient.

Operating Instructions 11 Contr ol P anel Pr ogramme selector The pr ogramme selector is used to select the wash cycle (for example, water level, drum movement, number of rinses, spin speed) and the water tem- per ature accor ding to the type of washing.

Can only be selected with wash temperatur es of 40 °C and above, as stain treatment pr oducts are only effective at higher temper atures.

With the next pr og r am start, this will close the solution container and the eco- sluice can function correctly .

Operating Instructions 29 The washing ma- chine vibrates when operating, or is noisy . Tr ansit packaging was not re- moved. Remove the tr ansit packaging as described in the I nstallation and Connectio n instructions. The machine is not level. Adjust the feet accord ing to the Installation and Connec- tion instructions.
Operating Instructions 30 Washing is heavily cr eased. Pr obably too much washing has been put in the d r um. P ay attention to the maximum load quantity (see Pr ogramme Table s). In the case of easy- car e fabrics, select the < (EASY IRON) pr ogramme.
Operating Instructions 31 P ower failure d u r- ing a was h pro- gra m me (all indicator lights are off). The failur e may be cause d by a blown hous e fuse or by a mains supply fault into the house. (For safety re asons, the door remains locked for ar ound 2m i n u t e s .
Operating Instructions 32 If the washing r esults are not satisfactory If the washing has turned grey and if limesca le is deposited in the drum, then • Too little deter gent was used. • The wr ong detergent was used. • Special soiling was not pre-tr eated.
Operating Instructions 33 Carrying out emer gency drainage • If the washing machine no longer pumps off the washing solution, emergency dr ainage must be performed. • If the washing machine is in a r oom where th ere is a risk of fr ost, emergency dr ainage must be perfor med if there is a possibility of fr ost.
Operating Instructions 34 When the water is completely dr ained: 6. Push the plug secur ely into the em ergency dr ainage hose and turn it clockwise to secu r e it. 7. Replace the emergency dr ainage hose in its holder . 8. Put on the flap and close. Dr ain pum p The dr ain pump is maintainance -fr ee.

The height can be adjusted in the r ange +1 0 .. -5mm. T o adjust the feet use the special spanner supplied for removing the tr ansport braces.
