26 Time Zo nes Once you have se t your time zo ne, date a nd time, you d o not need to r eset the c lock each time you trav el to another time zone. Ju st set the ti me zone to th e one of your de stination , and the camcord er automat ically adju sts the clock.

45 Advanced Functions Recording Pr ograms E Using the Shutter-Priority AE Mode Y ou can sel ect a shutter speed, and the camcorder au tomaticall y sets a matching aperture setting . Select a high shutter speed for recor ding fast movi ng subjects, and a slow shutte r speed to create a trailing a fter im age.
46 Using the Aper ture-Priority AE Mode Y ou can sel ect an apertu re value, and t he camcorde r automatica lly chooses t he appropriat e shutter spe ed.

75 Advanced Functions Playback E Displaying the Data Code The camcorder ma intains a data code contain ing recordi ng date and time and other camera data such as sh utter speed an d exposure (f-stop). When you play ba ck a tape, you can displa y the data code an d select the da ta code combinat ion you wish to display .
76 End Search When you have p layed bac k a tape, you ca n use thi s function to locate t he end of t he last recorded scen e. Available onl y in the mode. In stop mode, pre ss the EXP button. • “END SEARCH” appea rs. • The camcorde r rewinds/f ast forwards the tape, plays ba ck the last fe w seconds of the recording an d stops the tape.

92 Erasing Ima ges Y ou can era se images one at a time or all a t once. Be careful when eras ing images . Erased i mages canno t be reco vered. Protected im ages canno t be erased. Movies can onl y be erased when t he first sce ne is display ed as a still i mage.
