89 E Using a Memory Card Changing the Movie Size Y ou can choose between 320 x 240 pixels and 160 x 120 pixels . Open the menu and select [CARD SETUP] . Select [MOVIE SIZE], set it to [160x120] and close the menu. Movies are recorded with Moti on JPEG compress ion.
90 File Number s Images are aut omatically assigned fil e numbers from 01 01 to 9900 an d stored in fo lders containing up to 100 images. Fol ders are assig ned numbers from 101 to 998. Y ou can choose to use consecut ive file numb ers (CONTINUOUS) or to reset the file number each ti me a different memory car d is inserted (RESET).
91 E Using a Memory Card Recor ding Still Ima ges on a Memor y Car d Y ou can re cord still imag es with the camcor der , from a t ape in the c amcorder or from devices con nected via the DV terminal or A V termi nal. Y ou can als o record a still image on the memory card while you rec ord a movie on the tape.
92 Connection to a co mputer or PictBridge co mpliant printer will not work when the memory card contains more than 1 800 images. For bes t performa nce, we recommend not reco rding more than 100 image s on the memory card when you plan t o connect the c amcorder to a computer or prin ter .
