This camcorder uses commercially available 8 cm DVD-R or DVD-R W discs. So... what disc to choose? DVD-R DVD-R W Can be recorded only once.

Dividing a Scene Y ou can divid e your recording s in order to leave only t he best part s and later cut out the rest. Remember that when you div ide scenes in the pla ylist, you do not af fect y our origina l recordings.

56 Changing the Di sc Ti tle Before you finalize your disc, you can give it a title. The disc title will be displayed on the index scree n when playing the fin alized disc in most DVD players. T o change t he opera ting mode, refer to About the Op erating Modes (9 ) .

E CANNOT DIVIDE THE SCENE Photomovie scenes cannot be divided. 58 Y ou may not be able to divide very short scenes. – Scenes cannot be divided when the disc already contains 999 scenes. – Y ou may not be able to further divide scenes shorter than 5 seconds that were created by dividing a previous scene.
