Charging the Battery The rechargeable battery of the Neo XS Watch is long lasting and pr ovides up to 3 rounds of golf (based upon average of 4 hours per r ound), or two years of use as an everyday (time only) watch. Howev er , battery life may be reduced due to a variety of factors (external temperature, etc).

GOLF MENU Options TEE TIME T ee Time is a useful feature that allow s you to set a tee time up to 1 w eek (6 days, 23 hours , 59 minutes) in advance. When a T ee T ime is set, the Neo XS watch will automatically enter P lay Golf mode, and search for local courses 7 minutes prior to the set time.
GOLF MENU Options SETUP The Setup menu allows you to set y our preferenc es for units of measurement in Play Golf mode (Y ards or Meters), set the Aut o- O time, or view Battery life. T o access the Setup Menu, select Setup from the Golf Menu. Use the UP Button (3) and the Down Button (5) t o scroll between options.

Registering and Updating Golf Course Da ta Setting up a free account and reg istering your Neo XS at ww w .bushnell.igolf .com is not required. Howev er , doing so will allow you to update the pr eloaded GPS course data, and load any new courses. Registr ation is free and takes only a few minutes.

14. MAIN MENU Options ODOMETER The Odometer is a GPS function that tracks speed, distance tra velled, and activity time. T o access the Odometer , select Odometer from Menu 1 (g. 1). The Neo XS will search f or satellite signal, and will ac cess the Odometer page upon GPS Lock.

16. MAIN MENU Options STOP W A TCH The Neo XS features a useful S topwatch function. T o access the Stopwatch, select Stopwatch from Menu 2 (F ig. 1). Pr ess the SELECT Button (4) to start/pause the Stopwatch. When the Stopwatch is paused , use the UP Button (3) to reset the Stop watch.

18. MAIN MENU Options SETTINGS MENU O ptions: TIME OPTIONS SETTINGS The Settings Menu allows you to set the Time, as well as prefer ences for Time, the Odomet er , and Sounds. Y ou can also view your latitude/ longitude coordinates , the current rmware v ersion, or reset the default settings.

22. SETTINGS MENU O ptions GPS ST A TUS The GPS Status setting is a GPS function that allows you to view the quality of the GPS Signal by showing the number of satellit es, as well as the HDOP (Horizontal Dilution of Precision; the lo wer the number , the better the signal).
