1 I. Introducti on Overview The A T R120 is an el ectronic acros s-the-card t ime clock , which can be used f o r a weekly or a biweekly pay period. The uni que A T R121 T im e Card of fers a weekly time card on the fron t and a biw eekly time card on the back .

4 T o open t he fron t cover , turn the clock on its back and rem ov e th e tw o outer screws on bottom of cl ock. Stan d the clock uprigh t with th e bac k facing you . W ith both thum bs press down on IN1 and O UT3 buttons while using your fingers to push cover awa y .

6 · Press butto n four once. T he display reads 2-1 . The 2 indicates this is a weekly pa y period. OUT3 fl ashes in th e lower right hand corner of the display . This will flash until the changes are sa ved. · Press butto n five to choose th e current day of th e week for y our weekly pay peri od.
7 · Press butto n six to sa ve yo ur setti ngs. OUT3 is no longer dis played. Setting the ti me · Make sure t he A T R120 is i n program ming mode. · Press button one once to start setting the current time. This mode starts the clock-timing device.
8 Setting Daylight Saving T ime · Press button one once . If you are en tering the programm ing mode for th e first time, you will need to pr ess button one three times to set Dayli ght Saving T im e. The display reads S1 0-0 with S1 ind icati ng the star t of Da ylight Savi ng Tim e.

10 Setting the two-color printing and internal signal tone Ti me cards can be audited much easier by highlighting in red, punches outside the normal work schedule. Using the internal au dible s ignal will rem ind your em ployees of start an d stop times in th eir work schedule.

It is recommended th at a program ch art be used to create a schedu le to assist in programm ing this feature. The typical company us es eight events, similar to th e previous example on page 1 1.
13 Setting signal duration The A T R120 can be se t to pro duce a sign al lasting from zero (0) 0 to si xty (60) seco nds, with the d e fault b ein g five ( 5) se cond s. · Press button one once . 16 Setting the pa ssword The A T R120 allow s for th e use of a fou r- digit num ber as a password to protect programmed settings. When the password is set, you will be asked to enter it each time you enter the programming mode. It is recomm ended that if a passw ord is used that you write it down and store it in a safe place.

18 2. Follo w ing the di agram, ins ert screws at positions B and C. Place a screw anchor in the wall at position D. 3. Use the two screws (M4X10) to att ach the wall-m ounted frame to the botto m of the time clock. 4. Line up the keyho le s on the b ac k of t he ti me clo ck wit h the screw s in the wal l.
19 T o print, ins ert a time card into the receiver with the pay period selected, facin g you. Note : The clock cannot diff er entiate the pay per iod and w ill print on either side of the time card.
20 Next, rem ove and dis card the pin an d clip. Rem ove the ribbon cassette by first sliding it le ft and then upwards as shown by the illustration ( A & B). Place the new ribbon in to the A TR120. It is not necessary to replace th e pin and clip.
21 Location of fuses The fuse panel is located on the back of the A T R120 in the lower left corner . T o access fuses , disconnect the pow er from the clock and remove th e screw securing door . Replace blow n fuse w ith only the s ame rated fuse. Do not substitute.
22 For any oth er Error Codes contact your dealer or Acroprint T ime Recorder . T o return to the original Factory settings, press the reset switch, located on the back of the c lock ne xt to the PRO s witc h. When r eset ting t he cl ock make s ure the PRO/NOR is in the NOR po sition.
