WRE2205 User’s Guide 9 C HAPTER 1 Introduction 1.1 Overview The WRE2205 (N) is a universal repeater that is an access po int and a wireless client at the same time. The WRE2205 (N) wirelessly relays communications from its wireless clients to the access point.

In initial configuration, the WRE2205 acts as a DHCP server , so it can assign your computer an IP address in the same network range as the defau lt IP .
