OPERA TION 1 2 3 4 5 6 Freezer controls Start your appliance Insert the plug into the wall socket. The pilot light ➄ will light up to show that the appliance is on. T emperature control The temperature inside the freezer is regulated by a thermostat ➀ with 6 temperature positions and one «OFF» (O) position.
6 Distribute the frozen food packages in the other compartments, so that the two top compartments can be used for a further freezing operation. Only freeze top quality , fresh and thoroughly cleaned foodstuffs. Do not allow fresh food to touch food which is already frozen.
7 Cold accumulator The freezer contains one cold accumulator which can be found in the top compartment. The cold accumulator increases storage times in the event of a power cut or breakdown.
HEAL TH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES The freezer compartment will become progressively covered with frost. This should be removed with the special plastic scraper provided, whenever the thickness of the frost exceeds 1/4". During this operation it is not necessary to switch off the power supply or to remove the foodstuffs.
9 T urn the thermostat control to a medium setting between 2 and 4 and push in the «fast freeze» control knob. After letting the appliance run for at least two hours in the «fast freeze» mode, replace the previously removed food into the compartments.
SOMETHING NOT WORKING? If after the above checks, there is still a fault, call your local Service Force Centre. In-guarantee customers should ensure that the above checks have been made as the engineer will make a charge if the fault is not a mechanical or electrical breakdown.

16 Door reversal Before carrying out the operations described below , pull out the mains plug from the wall socket. T o carry out this reversal go through the following steps: 1. Gently lay the appliance on its back with the top held away from the floor by 5-8 cm (2-3 inches) of packing.
