10 OPERA TION Refrigerator/Freez er - Starting-up and temperature regulation Insert the plug into the wall socket. Open the refrigerator door and turn the thermostat knob, to be found on the upper right side of the inner liner , clockwise, from the « O » position, to start the appliance.

12 Freezing fresh f ood In any 24 hours you can freeze up to 3 kg. Place food to be frozen on the shelf of the freezer as this is the coldest part. The food to be frozen must be fresh and of the best quality . The size of each pack should be small enough to ensure that it is used in one go.
13 Fresh f ood refrigeration T o obtain the best performance, do not store warm food or e vaporating liquids in the refrigerator; do cov er or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flav our . Do not cov er the shelves with an y protecti ve material, such as paper , cardboard or plastic, which may obstruct the air circulation through them.
14 P ositioning the door shelves T o permit storage of food packages of v arious sizes, the door shelves can be adjusted in height. T o make these adjustments proceed as follo ws: Gradually pull the shelf in the direction of the arro ws until it comes free, then reposition as required (Fig.
