3 User Repair P r ecautions No parts of this player ar e to be ser viced by the user . If the player fails to operate or if y ou feel it needs ser vicing, tur n o the player , unplug it and contact an Acesonic dealer or ser vice center .
4 Front Panel Functions and Operation 1. POWE R : P ress this button to toggle the K OD- 1000 on and o . T urning o the power o n the player’ s front panel, however , will not allow it to be powered on by the r emote control. 2. NUMERIC KEYS : P ress these butto ns to input track selections and song numbers.

8 5.1 Surround Sound Connections Power Connections W hen you have completed connecting y our K OD- 1000 to your video and audio compo nents, refer to the diagram below to connect the play er to the power cord and an appropriate electrical outlet. P lease note that the K OD-1000 uses 100 V to 240 V , at 50/60 Hz.

15 T o access the song’ s information, enter its numeric code using the NUME RIC K EYS and press R EC. T o correct or change the track ’ s inf ormation: 1. Press the CL EAR button on the remote control to delete a character . 2. Use the UP/DOWN keys on the remote contr ol’ s DIRECTIONAL CONTR OL to navigate catego- ries.
