3 1 INTRODUCTION This is an integrated wirel ess IP Camera sol ution. It co mbines a high quality digital Video Camera wi th network connectivity and a pow erful web server to bring clear pictures to your Desktop from any where on your local network or over the Internet.

9 2. SOFTWARE OPERATION 2.1 IP Camera T ool When the Device has been mounted pro perly , you can double-click the Icon “IP Camera T ool” and a dialog box shown in Figure 1.9 will pop up . Figure 1.9 Note: The software s earches IP Se rvers automatically over y our LAN.
10 Figure 2.0 2.1.1 .1 Basic P roperti es There is some device in formation in the Basic Pro perties, such as Dev ice ID, System Firm ware V ersion, and Web UI V ersion. ( Figure 2.1). The Device ID is the camera’s MAC ID, which shou ld be the same as shown on t he sticker on the botto m of the camera.

55 4.1.6 UPnP alw ays fails UPnP on ly contai ns port forwarding in our recent sof t ware. Sometimes, it might fail to do port forwarding automatically because of firewall or anti-virus sof tware. It also relates to your rout er ’s security settings.
