F an speed selection will depend on the cellar size , insulation factor , door seal and desired wine temper ature.

Note: Improperly preparing your enclosur e or incorrectly installing your WhisperKOOL unit may cause unit failure , leak ing of condensation, and other negativ e side eects.

P age 13 Ambient T emperature F actor The cooling syst em has the abilit y to cool a wine cellar ecien tly to 55°F as long as the ambient temperature of the area that it is exhausting t o does not exceed 110°F . Therefore , you want to exhaust the unit in a r oom which will not exc eed 110°F .

T o apply , simply peel back the white-paper adhesive cov- ering and place on the mounting bracket.

P age 25 TM TM The WhisperKOOL Extreme Series can be congur ed with a remote controller syst em. I f you hav e a unit with a re - mote contr oller , please review this section. The contr oller can be installed up to 50 feet away fr om the cooling unit, or up to 300 feet a way with the extended connection wire available fr om WhisperK OOL.
P age 26 EXti 110111 Remote Contr oller Bottle Probe Cooling Unit Below is an illustration of one possible wa y to congure the remote con troller in a wine cellar . Remove the mounting bracket and secur e the bracket to the wall in the desired location.
P age 27 Drain Line All units come with a drain line for additional removal of excessive condensate. It is mandatory to install the drain line with “ T ” fitting. During operation, the cooling unit will strip ex cess water from the air in order to maintain the proper level of humidit y within the cellar .

This system inc or porates the f ollowing advantages: Self-Calibrating P robe The probe c ontains a sensor chip, which actually communicates back and f or th to the thermostat.
P age 29 MUL TI F AN SPEED C ONTROL Designed for wine cellars up t o 1000 and 2000 cubic feet, the Extreme 5000ti/tiR and 8000ti/tiR featur e multi- speed fans with a “high ” setting for maximum per formance in high-t emperature (+110°F) environmen ts and a “low ” setting for super - quiet operation.
P age 30 EXti 110111 Initial Start-Up When power is applied t o the unit, the control will briey display all symbols, and the C ompressor sym- bol will be displayed (if unit is calling f or cooling). There ma y be a br ief delay prior to the evapor ator and condenser fans turning on.
