2 Introduction Thank you for pur chasing the ViviC am 25 Digital Camera . Everything you need to take quality digital photos an d videos is includ ed with your device. Please read t his manual carefully FIRST in order to get the most out of your digital ca mera.

4 Computer System Requirements for Windows Vista / Windows 7 To be able to dow nload photos and videos to your PC yo ur will need the following minimum configuration: Windows Vista / 7 800MHz .

6 Inserting Batteries Your camera req uires three AAA Alkaline batteries. Insert the batteries into the camera: 1. Open the cover of the battery co mpartment on the botto m of the came ra. 2. Insert the batterie s according to the polarities (+ and -) indicated on the inside of the battery cove r , also refer to the picture below: 3.
7 To help you sav e those precious i mages , a “ Low Battery – Download Images Now ” message will appear on th e “ Preview ” screen when your bat teries are running low. DO NOT OPEN the battery compartment to replace t he batteries until y ou have downloade d the images to the computer.
8 Getting Started Note: In order to do wnload the photos and videos ca ptured with this camera y ou need to install the Viv itar Experience I mage Manager soft ware and camera specific driver for this device.
9 LCD DISPLAY LAYOUT The camera has 5 mode options on the Main Menu : To select the mode and to change the settings in each mode: 1. Press the Menu button, the M ain Menu screen app ears. 2. Use the Left/Right buttons to togg le between the menu icons on the s creen.
10 CAPTURE MODE The capture mode setting options are: Photo Self-Timer Video Continuous 3 shot Taking Photos 1. Pow er on the camera, and it enters Camera mode – a camera icon is di splayed on top left of the Preview Screen. 2. Compose your shot using the view finder.
11 1. Dow nload all the photos and v ideos fro m you camera to your computer. 2. After the i mages have been dow nloaded and appe ar on your comput er you should delete all the images from y our camera. 3. Once your camera memory is empty you are now ready to take more photos and videos.
12 Taking 3 Continuous Shots 1. Press the Men u button once to en ter the menu. 2. Press the Shu tter button until the icon ap pears Capture mode icon area of Preview Screen. 3. Press the Men u button again to save the choice and ex it the men u. 4. The 3 Continuou s Shots icon now appears in the top lef t corner of the Preview Screen.
13 When playing the vide o file, the elapsed time will appear on the bottom right corner of the Preview Screen. Photo Resolution and Quality Resolutions Selection There are 3 photo re s olutions to s elect from: 2. 1M (1 600 x 1280) 1.3M (1280 x1024) VGA (6 40 x 480) To Select the desired photo res olution: 1.
14 Photo Quality Selection There are 2 photo qual ity options to select fro m: --- Higher quality - large file size, less ph otos stored in mem ory --- Normal quality - smaller file size, more p hotos stored in memory To select the des ired quality se t ting: 1.
15 Electric Current Frequency Setting The camera has 2 Frequency se ttings: --- 60 Hz --- 50 Hz Set the camera for the correct freq uency according to the electric current frequency in the area where you are: 1. Press the Menu button once to enter the menu.
16 To delete A Single File 1. Press the Playback button once to enter the Playb ack mode. 2. Press the Left/Right buttons to select the file to be deleted. 3. Press the Menu button once for the delete selected file con firmation screen to appear. 4. Press the Left/Right buttons to select “Yes” or “N o”.

18 4. On a Window s PC the first time yo u connect the devi ce to the computer y ou will have to wa it a few moments until the computer recogn izes the devic e. Get photos and videos from your camera to your computer Do not disconne ct the cable dur ing transfer.
19 3. Both pho tos and videos (if yo u have captured any) will get dow nloaded. 4. Select your camera model fro m the device w indow. If your camera is the only device connected then it will be selected automati cally. 5. Select a location on the co mputer w here to place the new photo and vide o files.

22 Your camera uses SDRAM memory, w hich requires a constant electri c current to st ore your photos. Should your camera lose power (for i nstance if the battery di es or run out of power) all stored pictures will be lost. We recommend always downloadi ng your photos to your computer as soo n as possibl e to prevent unintentional data l oss .
