11 10 Getting Started All products ar e wiped clean with solvents at the factory to remove any visible signs of dirt, oil, and grease which may have r emained from the manufacturing process. All models include: • Automatically electric spark ignition/re-ignition burners light at any position on the knob and re-light if extinguished.
12 13 Lighting Burners All burners are ignited by electric ignition. There ar e no open-flame, “standing” pilots. Surface Burners-Automatic Reignition T o light the surface bur ners, push and turn the appropriate contr ol knob counterclockwise to any position.
15 14 Operation Cooking Substitutes Charts In many cases, a recipe r equires an ingredient which is not r eadily available or calls for a unit of measure that is not easily r ecognized. The following charts have been provided as useful guides in these situations.
16 17 Product Car e Product Car e Burner Head If ports on burner head are clogged, clean with a straight pin. DO NOT enlarge or distort the ports. DO NOT use a toothpick to clean the ports. When replacing burner head, carefully align the 2 tabs underneath the burner head with the outside edge of bur ner base.
