Contro 15/1 nd icators/Con nactio ns CHANNEL SELECTOR Selects the desired channel for transmission and reception. SCAN CONTROL (SCAN) Scans channels programmed in the selected SCAN mode. NOTE: The radio will not scan if the selected Scan Memory has not been programmed.
8. SQUELCH CONTROL Eliminates received background noise in the absence of an incoming signal.
