8 Introduction Structure of disc contents Normally , D VD video discs are divided into titles, and the titles are sub-divided into chapters. VIDEO CDs/audio CDs are divided into tracks . Each title, chapter , or track is assigned a number , which is called “ title n umber ” , “ chapter number ” or “ trac k number ” respectively .
9 Introduction Notes on region numbers The region number of this pla y er is 1. Region numbers, corresponding to specific geographical playback area, are printed on your DVD video disc. If you do not find 1 or ALL , disc playback will not be allowed by the play er.

15 Introduction Gently insert a fingernail in groove 1 and pull out the holder in direction 2 . T ake care not to break your fingernail. Place a coin-shaped battery (CR2025) with the side up on the holder . K eep the holder hor izontal so that the battery does not f all through.
