ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-2 Before attempting to moun t your T iger mower , it is import ant to read an underst a nd all of the Safety Messages in the Safety section of this manual. Check complete shipment list again st the packing list to make sure there are no shortages.
ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-3 pressure. If end play is less t han 1/16”, grind the end of the shaf t to achieve the proper end play . If there is more than 1/4” of end play , re turn the shaft with specifications for a longe r shaft.
ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-4 POL YCARBONA TE SAFETY WINDOW NOTE : In most case s this should be done before moun ting the main frame. Carefully remove the existing right rear cab window , to be replaced with the matching polycarbonate window provided.
ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-5 CABLE CONTROL LEVER ST AND (SVC ONL Y UNITS) Place the cable control bracket on the floor so that the bracket is 3-5/8” from the fron t window . Also the outer rear corner (heel) of the bracket is 5-1/4” from the edge of the door .
ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-6 CABLE CONTROL LEVER ST AND (MID MOUNT V AL VE UNITS) Place the cable control bracket on the floor so th at the bracket is 2-1/2” from the side edge of the door , and 4-3/8” in front of the re ar edge of the door . See images below .
ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-7 SWITCH BOX WIRING Route the green wires and th e red wire (wit h the 10amp fuse) from the switchbox to the front console panel. Refer to the parts section for wiring diagram to hook up the switch box. Cover the wires from the switch box with plastic wire wrap provided.
ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-8 V AL VE PLUMBING (SVC ONL Y UNITS) The tractor ports use d are on the selective control valve (SCV). The SCV is located between the right arm of the three point hitch and the axle. The pressure port is located the closest to the axle.
ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-9 VALVE PLUMBING (WITH MID-MOUNT VALVE) The tractor port s used are on the selective control valve (SCV) and the Mid-Mount valve. The SCV is located between the right arm of the three point hitch and the axle. The Mid-Mount valve is located under the right fro nt corner of the cab.
ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-10 MANUAL LIFT V AL VE PORTS (ASM-C-0057) MANUAL SWITCH BOX MOUNTING The switch box is to be secured to the ope rato rs side of the control handles, or valve st and. Refer to the part s section for assembly and component s needed.
ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-11 HOSE AND WIRE ROUTING Attach two clamps to the right re ar wheel well for proper hose/wire ro uting. Drill one hole for each clamp. Use th e lower re ar corner of the wheel well as an origin for measuring. The holes should be 10mm or 3/8” reamed to a ccept 3/8” hardware.

Insert t ank sight glass into front side of t ank. Place the tank in the moun ting bracket on the main frame a s shown in the Parts Section.
ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-13 INST ALLING O-RING FITTINGS Installing straight, 45º and 90º O-rings requires that the O-ring and washer be up against the swivel body . Insert the swivel and turn in until the swivel is pointed in the desired direction and O- ring contact is made.
ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-14 REAR ST OW L YNX HOSE ROUTING W ARNING NOTE: The sudden release of hydraulic pressure cou ld cause the sudden movement of very heavy p arts.
ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-15 Arrange the hoses in the clamp that attac hes to the boom mounting bracket as shown above, with the 1” motor hoses closest to the b racket and the return hose closest to the boom arm.

ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-17 WHEEL WEIGHT MOUNTING For all tractors using a boom mowe r , a wheel weight will be required for the rear lef t side wheel. It will be necessary to mount the weight in the wheel using the long capscrews, lockwashers, flatwashers, sp acers (if applicable ), and hex nut s per the diagram in th e parts section.
ASSEMBL Y Assembly Section 2-18 3-POINT BOOM REST MOUNTING install the boom rest onto the 3-point hitch using the pi ns as shown in the part s illustration. Adju st the bottom arms so the boom clears the tractor fender (X), adjust the top link so that the boom saddl e is approximately le vel with the ground.
