This button can also be con - gured to function as a suspend button (with a setting in the BIOS - see Chapter 4).

Chapter 4: AMI BIOS 4-1 Chapter 4 BIOS 4-1 Introduction This chapter describes the AMI BIOS Setup Utility for the X8ST i/X8ST i-F/X8ST i-3F/ X8ST i-LN4 . The AMI R OM BIOS is stored in a Flas h EEPROM and can be ea sily updated. This chap ter desc ribes th e basic navigatio n of the AMI BIOS Setup Utility setup screens.

Press "+" or "-" on your keyboard to change this value. TDP Limit Override Select Enabled to override the default power setting for the processor .
Chapter 4: AMI BIOS 4-9 DCA Prefetch Delay A DCA Prefetch is used with TOE components to prefetch data in order to shorten execution cycles and maximize data processing efciency . Prefetching too frequently can saturate the cache directory and delay necessary cache accesses.

Independent - All DIMM s are availa ble to the operating system. Channel Mirror - The motherboard maintai ns two identical copies of all dat a in memory for redundancy .
Chapter 4: AMI BIOS 4-1 1 SR-IOV Support Enable this item to support Single Root I/O Virtualization and Sharing (SR-IOV). The options are Disabled and Enbaled. Intel I/OA T The Int el I/OA T (I/O Accel eration T echnology) signican tly reduces CPU overhead by le veraging C PU archite ctural imp rovements, freeing res ources for more other tasks.
