26 Listening to the radio Y ou can list en to the radi o through the bui lt-in digita l tuner in t he remote con trol. W ith the USA model , you can also l isten to TV and weather b roadcasts. Y ou cannot use the r ecorder t o record a radio br oadcast that is being received on the remote c ontrol.

47 Dividing a track (Divide) Y ou can divide a trac k wi th a track mark, crea ting a new track f rom the part follo wing the tr ack mark. Y ou can also make f ine adjust ments to the track mark position before making the actual division. This function c an be set wit h th e reco rd e r only .
48 T o add track ma rks whil e recording (except while synchro-recording) Press T MAR K on the r ecor der (p ress P-MODE/ on the remote contro l) at the point you wa nt to add a tr ack mark. 49 Erasing tracks and a whole disc contents (Erase) Y ou can er ase unne ce ssary t ra cks or al l tracks in a disc.
