19 Connecting the TV Connecting the TV Overview Your new LCD TV can receive both analog and digital (HD and SD) broadcasting signals from antenna , satellite and cable TV company. To display clear crisp pictures, you must connect your TV correctly and choose the correct display format (s ee “Using the WIDE Button” on page 50).
Connecting the TV 20 About Using S VIDEO If the optional equipment you are con nectin g has an S VIDEO jack (sho wn at left), you can use an S VIDEO cable for impro v ed picture quality (compared to an A/V cable). Because S VIDEO carries only the video signal, you also need to connect audio cables for sound, as shown belo w .
