8 Chapter 1 - G etting S tarted Before using the S onocaddie V350 Series for the first time, char ge the battery for at least 4 hours. Under normal conditions, a full battery charge may take up to 4 hours if t he device is turned of f, and longer if it is turned on for u se.

15 Chapter 3 - B efore Star ting a Game 3.1 Adjust the Sonocad die V350 Series Settings The Sonocaddie has ten settings to custo mize your device. Follow these steps to change the sett ings; 1) Select “SETTINGS” from the “M AIN” screen. 2) Press the up/down bu ttons on the 5-way key to scroll down through each settin g.

26 4.1.2 Sear ch Courses fr om Course List Select “COURSE LIST” from “Main” menu to enter the searching function . Th ere are two methods for you to search y our course fro m available courses preloaded i n the device: 1. By Country: All the course s are listed by country .
27 For above two functions to search the cou rse, if you want to edit the selected course, by pressing “COPY”, the selected course will be copied into MY COURSE fo r you to edit the refere nce points. 4.2 Select the First Hole First you must select the starting hole manually .

30 4.4 Carryin g t he Son o caddie V350 Series Conveniently attach th e belt clip to your belt or clothing. Slide the hook on the back of the Sonocaddie V350 Series into th e clip until you hear a “click” sound. To remove the So nocaddie, press the button on top of the clip down and slide Sonocaddie up ward out of the clip.

32 5.2 T rack Y our Game Fe atur e The Sonocaddie V350 Series has two features to track your game; “Shot T rac k” records your specific shot locations and “Auto T rack” automatically tracks your route around th e course.
33 Import ant: Shot T rack and Au to T rack only w ork if the course has a “Color Layo ut” and you ar e located on a pa rticular hole on that course with the W alking Gol fer sym bol visible on the scree n. 5.2.1 Sho t Track Shot T r ack remembers all the ball locations that you enter on each hole on the Hole-Layouts.
34 5.2.2 Auto Tr ack When set on, Auto T rack automatically records your actual route ar ound on the co urse on the Hole-Layouts as yo u play . Auto T r ack can be very useful when used wi th Sh ot T rack above.
35 5.3 Measure your Shot Dist ance The “Mark” feature provides a simple way to quickly m easure the length of any shot y ou make by measuring the distance between the start and end positions of the shot. It is available anyti me, except when yo u are on the Gr ee n Close-up screen.

38 Chapter 6 – Editing an Exist ing Course W ith the Sonocaddie V350 Series, you can also make instant chan ges to the gi ven course information right on the spot. Courses are constan tly changing and s ometim es a target m ay have m oved since the GPS setting was recor ded.

Step 1 : Select “MORE” with the right soft key and then select “EDIT” to view the E dit Screen.

43 6.3 Add a New Target to a Hole T o add a new target, follow the editin g steps above, except in Ste p 2 stand at the new tar get on the hole and scroll to one of the th ree available locations in an empty row . Then follow S teps 3 & 4 to se lect and record a new target on the hole.
44 Chapter 7 – Managi n g Co urse Infor mation on the Sonocaddie V350 Series W ith the Sonocaddie V350 Series, you can easily rename or dele te any course, or map tar gets for a new course. 7.1 Delete a Course From the “MAIN” screen, select “MY COURSE” to see the Course List screen.

54 8.2.1 Manage Course Informati on under the MyCourse Tab Y ou can also use the software to manage the course informati on that is store d in your So nocaddie. T o delete a course, chec k the box besi de the desired course listed under the MyCourse tab and press the “DELETE” button to the right of the tab.

60 3. However , some courses measure the dista nce from tee box to the green al ong the m iddle line of fairway . For example, the distance on the tee mark or scorecard shows 410 yards, but Sonocaddi e only shows 380 yards.
