Page 5 Installing the SonicWALL Long Range Dual Band Wi reless Card Drivers This section provides step-by-step procedures to in stall the SonicWALL driver and Client Utility. Do not insert the wireless card until after th e driver installation is complete.

Page 9 Using the SonicWALL Client Utility This section describes the feature s of the SonicW ALL Lon g Range Dual Band Wireless Ca rd and its configuration process. After a successful installation, a SonicWALL Client Utility program group will be added to the Prog rams menu.

The Cu rrent Status tab provides the following curr ent status informati on: • Profile Name - The current name of the selected configuration profile.
Page 11 The Advanced St atus window displays the following information: • T ransmit Power Level - Provides curren t setting of Radio output power . • Associated BSSID - Shows the MAC address of the associated Access Point.

Page 15 WPA–PSK WPA–PSK (Pre-shared Key) is used in a Pre Shared Key mode that does not require an authentication server. Access to the Internet and the rest of the wir eless network services is allowed only if the pre- shared key of the computer matches that of the Acce ss Poin t.

Page 21 Uninstalla tion If the SonicWALL Long Range Dual Band Wireless Car d installation is unsucces sful for any reason, the best way to solve the prob lem may be to complet ely uninstall th e SonicWAL L Long Ran ge Dual Ban d Wireless Card and its software and repeat the insta llation procedure again.

V erify that the SonicWAL L Long Range Dual Band Wireless Card is properly inserted into the PC Card slot.
