10 Section 3 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS 3.1 PRE-START CHECK LIST Make the f ollowing check s and per form the servic e required bef ore each star t-up. 3.1.1. Check tires and add or r elease air as needed to bring press ure in drive tires to: 12 psi ( Turf T ype Tires ), 5 psi (All T errain T y pe Tires ) and 25 psi in rear caster tire.
11 Section 3 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS 3.2 STARTING & STOPPING – ENGINE, BLA DES & PA RKING BRA KE This mac hine is equipped with dual hydrostatic wheel drive transm issions . Each transm iss ion is controlled by a single motion control lever or joystick.
12 Section 3 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS 3.2. STOPPING ENGINE 3.2.1. ENGINE 1. Stop engine by tur ning key to the “OFF” position. Move engine speed c ontrol to turtle “SLOW ” pos ition and key to “ST OP” position. See Figure 3.6. WA RNING DO NOT leave mac hine with engine running.

Move the joystick to the center or neutral position to st op m achine.
19 Section 5 - A DJUSTMENTS & REPA IR 5.2.1. MO WER DECK A DJUSTMENT (Continued) 7. Tur n ball joint in or out until ball joint anchor hole aligns with m ounting hole. Reinstall bolt and tighten sec urely. Use sam e procedure on other caster wheel.

21 Section 5 - A DJUSTMENTS & REPA IR 5.6.2. ENGINE BELT REPLACEMENT 1. Route belt around blade pulleys and idler pulley in sam e the position as old belt was rem oved. It may be necessar y to use a pry bar to pull idler pulley back to install belt.
22 Section 5 - A DJUSTMENTS & REPA IR 5.7.4. BATTERY TEST ING There ar e two ty pes of battery tests: Unloaded and Loaded. The unloaded tes t is the procedure that will be disc us sed. It’s the sim plest and m ost c omm only used. An unloaded test is made on a battery wi thout discharging c urrent.
