User instructio ns 10 1.2 Wash programs Before starting a wash program check that: • The water supply tap is open . • The softener container contains regenerating salt . • The correct amount of detergent has been added t o the dispenser . • The baskets have been correctly loaded .
User instructio ns 11 SPREAD HALF LOAD Suitable when there a re not many dishes to be washed, i t saves energy and reduces the program d uration. Spread dishes a cross both baskets; the detergent dispenser sh ould be loaded with l ess tha n the normal amount for a full load.
User instructio ns 12 These products are not suitable for use with excessively “hard” water. If t he hardness level set is higher than H3 , when the option is activated the relative light flashes to indicate that the product is bein g used incorrectly; the dishwasher will still work , but washing results may b e poor .
User instructio ns 13 CANCELLING A PROGRAM IN PROGRESS • Open th e door, taking care to avoid splashes of water, and hold down the PROGRAM SELECTION (3) b utton for a f ew seconds until the indicator lights for programs 4 and 5 illuminate simultaneously (marked "end").

User instructio ns 18 ADDING RINSE AID Rinse aid helps the dishes dry faste r a nd prevents the formation of scal e deposits and staining; it is automatically added to the w ater during the final rinse cycle. To add rinse aid: • Open the doo r. • Rotate the container cap anticlockwise by ¼ of a turn and remove it.
User instructio ns 19 ADDING DETERGENT To open the detergent dispenser cap, lightly p ress the button P . Add the detergent and close the cap carefully.
User instructio ns 20 The introduction of detergent into the rinse aid dis penser, even in liquid form, will damage the dishwasher. 2.3 G eneral warnings and r ecommendatio ns Before using the d ishwasher for the first time, it i s advisable to read the following recommendations concerning dish types and loading.
User instructio ns 21 WARNING! • Make sure that the dishes are securely in p lace so that they can not tip over or obstruct th e rotation of t he spray arms du ring the wash cycle. • Do not place very small objects in the baskets as these could f all and obstruct the spray arms or the pump.
User instructio ns 22 2.4 Using t he baskets The dishwasher has a ca pacity of 10 place-settings , including serving dishes. LOWER BASKET Used for items with a heavier degree of soiling.
User instructio ns 23 BOTTOM BASKET INSERTS Some mo dels are e quipped with bo ttom basket inserts which improve the drying o f d ishes. The inserts are supplied i n the accessories bag; to use them, simply fit them into place as shown.
User instructio ns 24 UPPER BASKET It is recommended to load the uppe r b asket with small or medium-sized items such as glasses, small pla tes and saucers, tea or coffee c ups, shallow b owls an d light objects made from heat resistant plastic.
User instructio ns 25 ADJUSTING THE UPPER BASKET The hei ght of the upper basket can be according to req uirements and the size of the dishes in the lower basket.
User instructio ns 26 Quicklift position setting system: system with 3 position settings (1 lowest, 3 highest). The basket is snapped into the position required, lifting b oth sides simultaneousl y . To return to the lowest p osition from any height, lift the basket to th e highest position and then release.
User instructio ns 27 3. Cleaning and maintenance Before carrying out a ny work, always unplug the appliance from the electrical supply or turn off the dual-pole dedicated switch. 3.1 General warnings and rec ommendations Avoid the use of acidic or abrasive detergents.
User instructio ns 28 CLEANING THE OSCILLATING BOTTOM SPRAY ARM ● Take hold of the bottom spray arm unit and pull it upward to release. ● Separate the oscillating arm A from the spray arm B . ● Turn the oscillating arm A u pside down to release the to othed wheel C by pressing the teeth D and turning them anticlockwise.
User instructio ns 29 CLEANING THE FILTER UNIT • The c entral filter should be cl eaned regularly. To re move it, pull the spray arm assembly upwards. • Turn th e mi crofilter M anticlockwise to release and e xtract it, then lift the stainless steel filter F .
User instructio ns 30 PROLONGED DISUSE: • Run the soak program twice in succession. • Unplug the power cord from the socket. • Leave t he door slightly open in order to prevent the formation of unpleasant odours inside the wash tank. • Fill the rinse aid dispenser.
User instructio ns 31 If the dishes fail to dry or remain dull, check that: • The rinse aid container is not empty • The rinse aid dispense r setting is correct • The detergent used is of goo d .
User instructio ns 32 4. T roubleshooting The dishwasher is capab le of signalling a number of faults by t he simultaneous illumination of multiple indicator lights; the meanings are given below: FAULT DESCRIPTION E1 Aquastop failure The anti-flooding system has activated (r elevant models only).
