A 11 2.8 Environment al specifications 2.8.1 Ambie nt temperat ure Ambient temperature is defined as th e temperature of the envi ronment immed iatel y surrounding the d rive. Actual drive cas e temperat ure should not e xceed 70°C (158°F) within the operatin g ambient conditions.

For all linear sh ock test, operating or nonoperating, th e input shock level is measured at the fra me of the d rive at the specif ic lo cation as indicated i n Figure 3 below .

A 13 2.8.6.1 Operating sweep sine vibration The following lists the maximum operat ing sweep sine vibration levels that the drive may experience while meeting the performa nce standa rds s pecified. It consists of a forwar d and backward sweep from 10 Hz to 500 Hz to 10 Hz.
