7 TRANSMISSION DRIVE BEL T The transmission drive belt on the SWU belt drive machine has a spring-loaded idler system and needs no adjustment. If you find that the transmission slips, see your local Scag Servicing Dealer for service. DRIVE CONTROL ADJUSTMENTS 1.

If the drive belts slip due to high moisture conditions, the tension may need to be increased. On the other hand, if the day is dry and you are cutting on flat terrain the tension may be decreased.
