The Programming Assistance Button (a.k.a. PAB.) The PAB is located on the side of the module. This pu sh button mimic s the hood-pin switch in order to av oid having to get out of the vehicle and pres sing the hood-p in switch. The PAB will work only when the hood is up.

Make sure all t he connections are done properly an d that the Modul e has been powered-up. 2. With the Hood up (Ground on the Hood Pin line), s tart the vehicle using the key.
8. Idle Mode: Make s ure the vehicle pr operly goes into Idle Mode. Most comebacks are the result of misunderstandings about how a produc t works or performs. Take the time to pro perly explain all functions and features to the customers before they l eave the premises.

A common way cold solder joints happen is when not e nough plastic is stripped off the vehicl e's wire, so during the sol dering process the plastic from the wire mel ts and flows in to the connec tion instead of th e solder.
