When these situations occur , drill has a tendency to grab and kick opposite to the dir ection of r otation and could cause loss of contr ol when breaking thr ough material. If not prepar ed, this loss of contr ol can result in possible serious injury .
13 U N L O C K CHUCK REMOV AL See Figures 10, 11, and 12. Whenever necessary to remove the chuck for replace - ment, etc. use the following procedure for chuck re - moval: n Unplug your drill. n Rotate torque adjusting ring to the maximum tor que setting.
