About this microwa ve oven Microw aves are high-freq uency elect r o magnetic w av es similar to r ad io w aves. While radio wa ves ma y vary in length from one metre to many k ilometres, micr owa ves are very short (less than 12 .5 centimetres). Microw aves do not mak e an y heat themselves but only cause wat er molecules in food to vibra te.
Unpacking your microwa ve oven Bef o re you use your microw ave oven 1. R emo ve all the pack aging. Do not remove the small piece of car d fro m the right hand side of the cavity wall. This is called a wa ve-g uide cover and allows the microwa ves to pass through to cook the food.

How to use the microw ave oven 14 Clock Setting When the microwave oven is first turned on, the oven will display "0:0 0", the buzzer will ring once. 1) Press “CLOCK/PRESET” once. “00:00” is shown. 2) Turn the “TIMER/WEIGHT” dial to adjust the hour figures, the input time should be within 0 - 23(24-hour).

17 Cooking Combination Cooking ( Microwave + Convection) 1) Press t he “MICRO + CONV” bu tton onc e, and “ C-1 ” wil l displ ay. 2) Turn the “TIMER/W EIGHT ” dial to select the combination prefer r ed cooking method. Stop turning when “C -1 ”,”C -2 ”,”C -3 ” and “C -4 ” are on the display.

19 Cooking Multi-Stage Cooking Two stag es can be set. If one of the s tages is for defros ting this sho uld be prog rammed to come on first . The buzzer will ring once aft er each s tage and then t he next st age will s tart. Note: The Auto menu or the pre heating funct ions cann ot be set as one of the multi-s tage cooking .
20 Cooking Pre-set time to start fun ctions 1) Set the clock first. (Consult the instruction of clock setting). 2) Input the coo king program. A maximum of two stages can be set. Do n ot use the de -frost fun ction in the pre-set function. The auto menu can be set for a single stage only.
21 Cooking Quick Start cooking 1) Press t he "START/+30SEC./CONFIRM" key to co ok with 100% power level for 30 seconds. Eac h press on t he same key can increases the cooki ng time by 30 seco nds.
22 Cooking Defrosting b y Weight 1) Press " W.T./Time DEFROST " button once, the oven will display "dEF 1“. 2) Turn the “TIMER/WEIGHT” dial to select the weight of the food. At the same time, "g" will illuminate in red. The weight should be set between 100 -2000g.
